Out of Afrika Fire and Rescue (Disaster Management project in Kenya)

Fire and Recue is a new, first aid, fire fighting and rescue
college that has been established near Thika, in Central Province,
Kenya. We are looking at partnering with fire stations in the UK to
assist with training in disaster management, fire and rescue first aid, donations of fire
equipment and appliances for a fully equipped modern fire fighting
service.
Fire engine donated by Hampshire Fire and Rescue
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have already donated a fire appliance, complete with fire fighting equipment to Out of Afrika - a UK registered charity working at grass root level to improve education disaster management and develop self sufficient communities.
ICT fire and Rescue College is operated by Out of Afrika to undertake training in disaster management at all levels within companies and government departments, aid agencies, non profit organisations and communities in order to improve their ability to manage the variety of disasters we face today. we also undertake courses in fire emergency protection which includes: fire and rescue skills, first aid, emergency response skills, operation of fire extinguishers and other fire equipment and their maintenance.

Due to the current high demand for training Out of Afrika and ICT Fire and Rescue wishes to recruit for experienced fire fighters from around the world who can volunteer their skills and expertise in Kenya to assist with the appropriate level of initial training and help with the plan to expand this programme and make it sustainable.

Without the generosity of our supporters OOA would be unable to achieve
its primary objective of supporting the community and eradicating
poverty through skills training.
We urgently need help to raise money to enable us to invest in the
college training programs, expanding the current facilities and
infrastructure.
